Quick answers

What is IV hydration?

IV hydration delivers sterile fluids — usually saline with electrolytes, and often vitamins — directly into a vein through a small catheter. Because it bypasses the digestive tract, the fluid enters your bloodstream immediately rather than being absorbed over hours. A standard session runs about 30 to 45 minutes.

Is IV hydration worth it?

It depends on why you need it. If you are meaningfully dehydrated — after altitude, heat, illness, vomiting, or a hard hike — IV fluids work faster than drinking and you feel the difference the same day. If you are mildly thirsty and can keep fluids down, water and an electrolyte drink will do the same job for a few dollars. It is a tool, not a daily requirement.

How does mobile IV therapy work?

You book a time and address. Berenice Espinoza arrives with everything needed, reviews your intake and health history, places the IV, and stays with you for the whole session — typically 30 to 60 minutes. There is no clinic, no waiting room, and no driving afterward. You can be on your couch, in a hotel room, or at your office.
